Even while the Apostles were ministering, brethren began to corrupt the truth and lead other brethren away.  These false teachers caused the Apostles great concern as seen in their letters to the ecclesias. This corruption of the truth waxed worse and worse till now in this present age the Christian Church is completely apostate.
